YEAR OF THE CRABGRASS...

This is the Year of the Crabgrass. Everywhere we look around the countryside, crabgrass seems to have taken over.
That's true at our place too. When our lawns burned up, the crabgrass moved in.
And that's okay, I guess. Were it not for crabgrass, we'd have no lawn. We've decided crabgrass-green is a perfectly acceptable shade.
For now.

R.A.T. (Rose About Town) accepts your comments at randrmoore@gmail.com. (I won't, however, help you with your crabgrass).

REFLECTION ON A BUILDING PROJECT...

Last night's storm washed away the beaver dam I have been watching in the creek as I sit on my deck. The beavers may be weeping, but Bob and I are cheering.
In the posting below, I share with you a reflection from my journals. It was written long ago.

DAM(N) BUILDERS!!
