Winter still lives in my back yard. And front yard. And side yard. And community.
It's mid-February, and night temperatures are still flirting with zero; definitely below normal for this time of year.
Still, I refuse not to recognize the beauty of this season.
Spring will come in its own good time, and like all the seasons here, each season will be worthy in its own varied and unique ways.

(The foreground of the photo above highlights the remains of my summer coneflower garden. By summer 2010, the seeds from this plant will result in a garden full of purple! With no extra effort from me).

For the past day, this site has been jammed with a large number of unsolicited ads. This posting is a test; my second attempt this morning to post an entry. If it goes through, I will post the entry I attempted to share, later today.
Bear with me; patience is a virtue.
