The unfettered rays of a brilliant rising sun make the background trees look bleached, but even in the shadows, my colorful vintage rose stands up for itself.
The rose seems partly wild; it exudes a lovely fragrance, but you want to stay away from its vicious thorns.
It stands equally against brutal winters and hot, dry summers without extra help from herbicides or fertilizers and it seems to need no coddling.
You can lop it to the ground and it quickly grows again.
I like this rose.
